Amparo Farias

I owe my calling to education to the Ursuline nuns that taught me as a child. Everyday that I went to school was a joy for me. Now as a teacher, I feel that same joy daily. I am able not only to teach academics but to introduce the teachings of our Catholic faith and love of Christ. Thanks to my parents, I graduated with a degree in Elementary Ed. with a specialization in Kindergarten and a Master's in Bilingual Ed. I have been teaching for 35 years. Being called "Teacher" is the greatest compliment.
