HolyRosary School provides a strong foundation for the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical needs of all students in a safe, caring, Christian community while providing a challenging, excellent educational environment.
Holy Rosary School’s rich tradition of excellence in Catholic education began in 1892, when Father William, a Benedictine priest, opened the school, the first Catholic school in Tacoma. Today, we continue to provide this education to all interested families in Pierce County. Holy Rosary works to find a way to make this quality Catholic education available to all families through a need-based Tuition Assistance Grant program.
Holy Rosary, a state accredited school, offers a comprehensive academic program for children in pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. This program prepares students for college preparatory high school programs. Our ITBS assessment program is used in grades 3 through 7 as ongoing tool to direct instruction and assess the academic progress of students.
